Michal Vakrat Wolkin is a Managing Director at Lear Innovation Ventures in Israel. She is an applied physicist and executive business leader with broad exposure and passion to deep technologies with a focus on the future of mobility.
Prior to joining Lear, Michal was a technical director at NASA’s Night Rover Challenge, a Member of Research Staff at Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center), a Director of EV battery technologies at Better Place (Palo Alto), and 3M Head of R&D in Israel.
Michal has a PhD from the University of Rochester, NY, and a post doc from Xerox PARC. She has over 10 patents and numerous publications with thousands of citations.
