Voltify
Voltify can save over 20% of rail's main expense - energy. They are retrofitting diesel locomotives with battery power, enabling them to fast charge through a dedicated smart microgrid network. It was founded by Daphna Langer, previously founder of a logistics and data company, and Alon Kessel, founder of the public energy company Doral (global projects of over $1B each) In under two years, they secured over $50M contingent PO and a paid pilot with one of the largest global rail companies with a $1B+ contract potential. Voltify’s tech is unlocking a $20B ARR opportunity in rail energy sales, and $100B ARR from the off-grid, rail-connected energy network.
